In what ways will your media product use develop or challenge forms and contains of real media products and how will your media product represent particular social groups?
My media project is pop music magazine. I have used many conventions of real media products and challenged a few.
As I have chosen pop as my genre, I have mainly stuck to the common conventions that come with it. The colour scheme i have used has bright colours, with the base two colours being pink and purple. Everything is bold and has a lot of impact on the eyes.
There are many photos on the front cover and throughout, this also conforms to the common conventions. I have used continuity editing so my magazine flows well. This includes keeping the basic colour scheme and using similar styles.
My media project represents young people, mainly girls.
